KAMAL MOSS: Silk Cotton Handprinted Scarf

A generously proportioned cotton silk scarf that doubles up as turban, sling bag, wall hanging or sarong, this hand blockprinted piece features the lotus or Kamal symbol. It is central to spiritual beliefs in Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. Signifying the unfolding petals of a lotus flower, the rhythmic repeat pattern reflects the expansion of the soul, purity and creation. Growing unstained out of the mud, it tells a story of simple transcendence.

Lovingly finished with threaded balls on the edges.
Dimensions are 180cm x 100cm.
