The Anatolia collection features four simple motifs that are typically used in the weaving of rugs in Anatolia, also known as Asia Minor and modern day Turkey. Rugs form a fundamental part of cultural history, with artisans weaving in their own interpretations of long standing symbols such as these.
This edition features the Cross motif. It is an age old protector against the evil eye, formed of a vertical and horizontal line. The Anatolian belief is that the cross reduces the power of the evil glance by dividing it into four pieces.
