Tell us about yourself.
Since I was a little girl, my parents took me to their adventures with them. They were a very sporty couple and have always loved mountain climbing, hiking, bike riding and other outdoor activities. They showed me how to appreciate the value of what Mother Nature gives us every day.
I have a major in International Relations but through time I discovered that my true passion was communications and realised that diplomacy was too formal for me.
What gets you going through the day?
My job and my exercise are my priorities; it is what gets me through. I work for an airline company and I LOVE it, helping people with their travels everyday gives me a huge sense of satisfaction. And my exercise, well, my body is my temple so dedicating a couple of hours everyday for myself nurtures me and makes me feel exceptional.
Share with us a few words you live by.
Every day I try to make an effort to be THERE. People often forget to live in the present because they start thinking about the past or even the future. I live under the idea that everything that happens to me (good or bad) is the best thing that could have happened to me, so gratitude is a word I live by every day.
My life ideal is that we are cycles of energy evolving and learning from every life we live, hoping to become wiser until we achieve a deeper level of consciousness.
What do you like to do on your downtime?
I like to spend my free days with my friends, playing tourist in my own city, taking pictures and discovering new museums.
What’s on your bucket list?
Bondi Ice beach in Australia, Big Buddha in Hong Kong, Thailand, Petra and Cuba.
Tell us about your favorite vacation destination.
OAXACA, definitely Oaxaca’s beaches, the city is a must-visit so I normally spend a day or two there and then I go straight to the beach. My favourite beaches are called Mazunte and Chacahua, the vibe is so smooth and everything is so cheap so you don’t really spend that much. In any of the five star hotels I’ve been to, I’ve had the same liberating feeling that I get when I go camping to these beaches. At 7am I just open my tent and there it is, in front of me the sea and the rising sun. Definitely a precious gift.
Where is your next adventure?
My next adventure is programmed to be in Hong Kong so wish me luck!
