The Classic Shorts + Bird Moss

The Anatolia collection features four simple motifs that are typically used in the weaving of rugs in Anatolia, also known as Asia Minor and modern day Turkey. Rugs form a fundamental part of cultural history, with artisans weaving in their own interpretations of long standing symbols such as these.
This edition features the Arrow Bird motif, signifying joy, love, longing and strength. This Anatolia motif expresses many different meanings. Motifs inspired by birds like owls and ravens imply bad luck, while those of doves, pigeons and nightingales are used to symbolize good luck.
